Wonder Pets Party Supplies – The Background

Wonder Pets Party Supplies are based on Wonder Pets, an American animated children’s television series. The series was created for Little Airplane Productions by Josh Selig and debuted on the Nick Jr. block of the Nickelodeon cable television network on March 3, 2006. The series has won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition in 2008.

The show started as a short Nick Jr.’s film series titled Linny the Guinea Pig. In the series Linny, a guinea pig traveled into space and under the ocean. When the show was expanded, Ming-Ming Duckling and Turtle Tuck characters were added, and the show was called The Super Singing Power Pets! The name of the show was later shortened to Wonder Pets.

The main characters of the show are three elementary school classroom pets: Linny the Guinea Pig, Ming-Ming Duckling and Turtle Tuck. They demonstrate the benefits of teamwork as they rescue baby animals.

In the series, the animators have manipulated the photographs of real animals to create the animations. This animation style is called “photo-puppetry”.

Wonder Pets – The Characters

Linny the Guinea Pig is five years old. She is the leader of the Wonder Pets. She wears a blue cape and an orange-yellow cap as a superhero. She often provides geographical and zoological information to others and seems to be the most educated of the group. She is the one who offers praise and reminds the group about teamwork and other values. Most of the times, she has the responsibility to start the Flyboat. Usually at the conclusion of the adventures, she says, “This calls for some celery!” In most of the show’s primary songs she leads Ming-Ming and Tuck. In the United States version; Linny is voiced by Sofie Zamchick and in the UK version, she is voiced by Meisha Kelly.

Tuck the Turtle is four years old. He is the heart of the Wonder Pets group. He wears a red cape, blue Aquasocks and a white French sailor’s cap as a superhero. Tuck is empathetic and has an emotional connection to living things. He is sensitive and often gives the rescued animals a hug. He is always willing to keep them company while his friends put their rescue plan into action. He can spot things from a distance and his keen observational skills are often appreciated by the compliment, “Good eye, Tuck!” In the United States version Tuck is voiced by Teala Dunn and in UK version he is voiced by Catherine Holden.

Ming-Ming the Duckling is a three-year-old duckling who is overconfident. She wears a green cape, goggles and a leather pilot’s helmet as a superhero girl. She can fly, an ability that the other Wonder Pets do not have. She can also talk to the birds as he knows the bird language and this helps the group communicate with the birds that they encounter. She believes that her great-grandfather was an eagle. She sometimes tries to solve the big problems by herself and in the process provides comic relief in the show. In the United States version Ming-Ming is voiced by Danica Lee and in the UK version she is voiced by Kaya Alexander.

Each episode has a similar storyline. When the episode begins, children say goodbye to the classroom pets as they leave the school at the end of the day. When the classroom is empty, a telephone starts ringing (it is actually a pencil holder rattling to create the ringing sound). All the pets notice the ringing phone. The pets start towards the phone, singing their opening verses. When they attend the phone they come to know that somewhere an animal is in problem. Linny explains the problem to Tuck and Ming-Ming. They all jump into a box that is filled with fabrics and when they come out, they are dressed with different outfits. They laugh and jump again into the box and jump out wearing their Wonder Pets capes. Now they assemble a vehicle, most commonly a flying boat called “The Flyboat”. The flying boat is assembled from classroom objects. Before leaving the classroom, the Wonder Pets usually encounter some problem and the solution is similar to the action that they would have to take to solve the actual problem. When they reach to the problem scene, they fail on the first few attempts to save the animal. Then they remember the action they took to solve the problem in the classroom and realize that the current problem has the same solution. Then they work as a team to rescue the animal.

Wonder Pets Party Supplies – The Options

You may select Basic Party Pack from our Wonder Pets Party Supplies which includes all the stuff you need for 8 guests. Or you may go with the Deluxe Party Pack from our Wonder Pets Party Supplies that has much more items than the Wonder Pets Basic Pack. The Wonder Pets deluxe pack is also for 8 guests. If you need favor boxes as well, I would suggest you to choose the combination of Deluxe Party Pack & 8 Favor Boxes from our Wonder Pets Kids Birthday Party Supplies as it would cost you much more if you purchase them separately. If you think that the number of guests may exceed 8 you should consider Wonder Pets Party Pack Add-On as it contains extra items for the extra guests. You may order Wonder Pets Party Favor Boxes separately as well.

I’ve personally used Wonder Pets Party Supplies for my kid’s birthday and through my personal experience I would recommend it to all Wonder Pets lover kids.
