Sofia the First Party Supplies – The Background
Sofia the First Party Supplies are based on Sofia the First, a computer-animated television series. The show features the Disney Princesses. Ariel Winter stars as Sofia in the series. The tv series is based on a young girl named Sofia, who becomes a princess when the king marries her mother. The television series is created by Craig Gerber and directed by Jamie Mitchell. The voice director of the show is Sam Riegel. The show is quite popular among girls and so are Sofia the First Party Supplies.
The pilot episode of the series, titled “Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess” premiered on November 18, 2012 on Disney Channel. It had 5.2 million viewers. The series premiered on Disney Channel and Disney Junior on January 11, 2013. Since then Sofia the First Party Supplies are craze among girls. Sofia the First was renewed by Disney Junior for a second season on March 5, 2013.
The plot of the series is quite simple but interesting. Three fairies are in charge of the Royal Training Academy. They are Fauna, Flora, and Merryweather (of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty). Sofia is learning from them about how to be a princess. Occasionally, classic Disney Princesses like Cinderella, Jasmine and many others also help her. During the training Sofia realizes that it isn’t hard at all to look like a princess. But behaving like a princess is quite hard because it must come from the heart. Kids love how Sofia solves her problems. They want to bring the kingdom home. Sofia the First Party Supplies are for them.
In the show Sofia wears plenty of pretty dresses and sparkly shoes and looks like a princess. But the show is not about the looks. The stories of the series focus on the idea that looks and dresses don’t make a princess. What’s on the inside is more important and that makes the real princess. The series highlights character qualities such as generosity, loyalty, kindness, honesty, and grace. In the series Sofia is able to talk to animals with the help of her Magic Amulet of Avalor. But the evil sorcerer Cedric wants to have the amulet for himself. He is planning to steal it and use it to take over the kingdom.
