The difficulties of being a single dad are numerous, too many to count. Having a photographer and artist as a dad is probably just as difficult for a daughter. My interests have been in the latest technology in graphic design and changes in lighting for families, where hers change quite often. However, the one thing we both love is having a dog. We both share the idea that they are part of families and that they should have more dog meme’s online rather than all those cats. Cats overpowered the Egyptians and modern minds are being taken over by cat meme’s as we speak. All joking aside though, I had no clue where to start with a birthday party for my daughter. My daughter is only 12, but she is definitely smart and she takes control of the house most of the time, though I personally do many of the chores. Imagine how a 12 year old would keep a house clean by herself. I can only think of Punky Brewster from when I was a kid. In this case, she put up everything for her own party, minus the paper stuff I twisted and put on the walls for her.

The kit came with decorating balls and stuff for paper and she added that to the invitations to create something better. I believe that when it came to figuring out what she wanted all over the house, and where she wanted it, I think she did great.

There was a lot of stuff, and the only thing I demanded was that the table decorations went on the table, rather than her imaginative idea of placing them on the pool table. It was my grandfather’s table and it was difficult enough to keep it in good shape and still play on it. Not one day in the world would I find a cake on there from my daughters party.

To say that is was cool is an understatement. I didn’t have a son, so Spiderman and things I would have liked as a kid were completely out, however, the rachaelhale Glamour Dogs party supplies hit a spot that was both girly, and didn’t get into some realms we see other kids enter so young these days. I am just glad I can keep her away from wanting to be a stripper cop or something of that nature when she grows up.

They did a great job with all the additives the package brings. There were plush dolls, stickers, boxes for everything, and bone cups that came with a straw, and a cool piñata, which everyone figured they were too old for until they started beating on it.

According to my daughter and the mothers of other kids, the rachaelhale Glamour Dogs party supplies brought out a great party for everyone and my daughter is one step closer to being a weirdo, while I get to stand by and watch her become a better, or at least older, her.
