Penguins of Madagascar Party Supplies are based on The Penguins of Madagascar, an American CGI animated television series that is aired on Nickelodeon. The series stars nine characters from the Madagascar movie: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, Private, King Julien, Maurice, Mort, Mason and Phil the chimpanzees. Penguins of Madagascar – The Characters

Skipper is the leader of the penguins. He devises tactics and is nearly unflappable. With his experience in covert ops, he is always prepared for nearly any situation.

Kowalski is the group strategist and gadgeteer. He is a brilliant inventor, but cannot read and also tends to over-analyze the situations.

Private is the emotionally sensitive rookie of the group. He is down to earth and offer simpler, more commonsense solutions. He is younger and less experienced than others.

Rico is the team’s explosives and weapons specialist. He mainly communicates through grunts and squeals. Rico swallows useful tools and regurgitates them when needed.

King Julien XIII is a fun loving lemur who is ring-tailed. He has little regard for others and often misinterprets figures of speech.

Maurice is one of King Julien’s subjects. He is an aye-aye. He often shows disdain towards King Julien’s inconsiderate attitude.

Mort is a dimwitted, accident-prone mouse lemur. Mort is fiercely devoted to King Julien but the King treats him with contempt.

Marlene is a female otter. She was transferred from an aquarium in California to the Central Park Zoo. She and Skipper are close friends.

Mason and Phil are two intelligent chimpanzees. Mason cannot read but can speak. Phil is an avid reader but cannot speak.

Alice is a surly zookeeper. She always expresses disinterest in her job.

The Rat King is a genetically enhanced lab rat who lives in the sewers.

Roger is the penguins’ alligator friend who resides in the sewer.

Max is the penguins’ stray cat friend.

Joey is an ill-tempered kangaroo with an Australian accent.

Bada and Bing are two gorillas who love fighting.

Fred is a squirrel that takes everything said literally. He has a slow monotone speech pattern.

Officer X is an officer in animal control. He enjoys catching stray animals.

Dr. Blowhole is a bottlenose dolphin who has red lobsters as servants. He is Skipper’s archenemy.

Burt is an elephant who is obsessed with peanuts.
