Monster High Party Supplies – The Background
Monster High Party Supplies are based on Monster High, an American line of fashion dolls. These Monster High dolls are created by Garrett Sander and the illustrations are done by Kelly Riley. These dolls are being made since 2007, but were officially released in July 2010.
The Monster High dolls are different from the most of the other fashion dolls as the characters are inspired by horror fiction and monster movies. The Monster High male dolls are 11 inches tall and the female dolls are 10.5 inches in height. They have small heads and noses, doe eyes and full lips. The bodies of these dolls are made of ABS plastic, while soft PVC is used to make their heads.
The Monster dolls feature various skin tones (green, blue, pink, etc.) and each character features a unique head mold. Except Jackson Jekyll and Clawd Wolf, all of the male dolls don molded plastic hair. Saran or kanekalon fibers are used for the hair of the female dolls.
Monster High dolls have articulated bodies and their hands and forearms are removable. This makes the redressing of the dolls easier.
Each doll is unique in the characterization of their clothes. Also, they feature various attributes of the monsters they are related to. These attributes include fangs, fins, wolf ears, stitches, bandages, etc.
